Circumference of circle = πd = 2πr

 

radius = 100 ft

π = 3.14

 

Circumference = 2*(3.14)*100 = 628 ft

 

Ribbon comes in rolls of 40 ft.

     628/40 = 15.7

 This will require 16 rolls of ribbon (can't buy a partial roll).
