I don't know the variable to cook smores in a solar oven

There might be more than one variable. A major one would be the time (duration) for the cooking of a batch. Another can be the # of smores in a batch. A third can be the time-of-day at which baking (not cooking) begins. Also, the condition of the sky (cloudy, rainy, sunny) is an important variable when using a solar oven.
