I need help with these problems. I worked it out but it didn't make sense so can you work them out step by step for me. 

 

5b + 6 - 6b + 2 = 19 

 

3 - 4t + 11 = 2

First, group like terms.

 

5b - 6b + 6 + 2 = 19

-b + 8 = 19

-b + 8 - 8 = 19 - 8

-b = 11

-b/-1 = 11/-1

b = -11
