The Constitutional Convention happened from May 14, 1787, to September 17, 1787, in Philadelphia, PA. The idea behind the Constitutional Convention was to figure out which form of government America will have. The Convention was meant to improve the Articles of Confederation. However, many delegates wanted more for the future of America.
