(Volume of cylinder)/(Volume of sphere) = number of spheres
- Volume of cylinder = pi·r2·h where r = 7 and h = 14
- Volume of sphere = (4/3)·pi·R3 where R = 3.5
Vc/Vs = pi·r2·h/((4/3)·pi·R3) = 3hr2/(4R3)
Plug in the numbers and compute the answer. Round down to the nearest whole number (can't make part of a sphere).
