Hi Kirk,
I'm not sure what the question is, but I can show you a couple of ways to write equations of a line.
Here you can use the point-slope equation:
y - y1 = m(x-x1)
You have a point, (7,4), where x1 = 7 and y1 = 4, and a slope, -8/3
Plug 7 into x1, 4 into y1, and -8/3 into m:
Here is a correct equation: y-4 = -8/3(x-7)
You can also solve for y to put it into the form: y=mx +b
y-4 = -8/3(x-7)
y = -8/3x + 56/3 +4
This is the slope-intercept form:y = -8/3x +68/3
