Micheal,
I am going to assume that 6v2+3v+6 = 0,
Then I am going to divide every term on both sides by 3
2v2+v+2 = 0
Have you worked with complex solutions? If not, then my assumption that this was = 0 was wrong.
If you have worked with complex solutions, then you can use the Quadratic Formula to find
that x = -(1/4) + i sqrt(15) and x = -(1/4) - i sqrt(15)
Probably we need the number to the right of the = sign. :-)
