Molarity is moles per liter. So you set up an equation:
0.3M = x moles / 0.045L <--- You have a 0.3M solution equals an unknown number, x, moles divided by the 0.045L (45mL) of solution
Solve for x:
x = 0.3M * 0.045L = 0.0135 mol
