It's natural to be a little nervous when speaking in front of a group. Shy, nervous, apprehensive, etc. are all pretty much the same thing when it comes to public speaking. If you are presenting a report or something similar, remind yourself that you probably know more about what you are presenting than anyone else in the class. After all, you are the one who did the work putting the presentation together. So, have confidence and present the material that way. The more you present, the easier it gets, but it is never easy.
