Now fill in the variables with the information you know.
You know the base and the area, so we will solve for the height.
First multiply both sides by 2 to get rid of the fraction
2A = (base)(height)
Now divide both sides by the base
2A/(base) = height
And that is how you find the height.
height = 2(Area)/base
