Herbivorous animals such as cows and horses will be abundant in areas with vast grasslands. 
Birds with long pointed beak would inhabit the ares where trees produce fruits with seeds that they can pick with their beaks.
Large trees provide shade for running animals such as deer, they would inhabit the forest with large trees and dense vegetation to escape predators. 
Monkeys and orangutans would inhabit the ares with fruit bearing trees for their sustenance.
Squirrels would prefer tall trees so that they can escape their predators on ground!
