You appear to have written 24=32, which is not a true equation.
If you MEANT that corresponding sides of two SIMILAR right triangles have measurements of 24 and 32, then the smaller triangle's sides are ¾ that of the larger triangle.
If that's so, and if you meant that two other corresponding sides measure x and x+13, then you can legitimately write the proportion ¾ = x/(x+13). This then leads to the solution x=39.
