Correction:
A megabyte is equal to 2^20 bytes, and a gigabyte is equal to 2^30 bytes. How many times larger is a gigabyte than a megabyte?
A gigabyte is 2^10 megabytes. [note: 30-20 = 10]
A gigabyte is 1024 megabytes.

lgk =lg20 30 / 2 30 ; lgk = 20/10lg2
lgk = 2/lg2=2/0.301
