Is golden ratio in the statue true?

Question

I know that the golden ratio is performed with 1:1.618... but there I have heard that the statue of the naked david or the monariza is performed with the golden ratio. Is it really true? I have heard from my friend who works at a museum  that the ratio is just a lie made up by the fake artists trying to pursuade  tourists to feel it is really beautiful and started to make claims that are wrong. Is the golden ratio really wrong? plz tell me!!

The Mona Lisa (note spelling) can be divided into golden rectangles.

I assume by the "naked david" you mean Michelangelo's David in Florence. It also conforms to the golden ration.
