Out of a rectangular prism, triangular prism and a hexagonal prism, all with the same dimensions, which would have the largest surface area? Volume? Why?

Answer which one would have the greatest surface area, then which would have the greatest volume and why for both.

The surface area is the sum of the all of the flat surface's areas in the figure. 

 

A hexagonal prism as a total of 7 flat surfaces.  Rectangular prism has total of 6 flat surfaces.  Triangular prism has a total of 5 flat surfaces.  Since the hexagonal prism has more sides, the hexagonal prism has the largest surface area.
