x = 1 / (1/10 + 1/15)
 
On the right hand side, multiply and divide by the least common multiple of 10 and 15, which is (2)(3)(5) = 30, and get
 
x = 30 / (30/10 + 30/15) = 30 / (3 + 2) = 30 / 5 = 6
 
x = 6
