Word promblem

2/3 of the leaves of a tree fall of in the first week. In the second week 2/3 of the remaining leaves fell off. In the 3rd week 2/3 of the remaining leaves fell off. Now there are 37 leaves left. How many leaves were there originally?

L(1/3)^3 = 37 so L = 37 times 27 because 1/3 remain after each stage. Corrected (formerly had (2/3) cubed...

I think u r wrong as if u read the question it says that 2/3 of what remains falls off in second week and so on
