Replace the left side expression, using the double angle formula for cos 2θ = 1 - 2sin2θ
and then you have
1 - 2sin2θ = 2-2sin2θ which I believe you will realize will only be true if 1 = 2.

cos 2θ = 2 - 2sin2 θ
cos2θ - sin2θ = 2 - 2sin2θ double angle formula
1 - sin2θ - sin2θ = 2 - 2sin2θ
1 - 2sin2θ = 2 - 2sin2θ
1 = 2
