A single dice is rolled 4 times and comes up 3,4,5 and 6. What is the probability that the next roll will produce a number greater than 2?! 

Answer 1

Assuming the die is fair, past rolls do not matter.  There are six sides, and four of them are greater than 2.  The probability is 4/6 or 2/3.

Answer 2

4 out of 6 because 3,4,5,6 and all are numbers greater than two but there's a total possible amount of 6 numbers if you consider 1 and 2. This can reduce to 2:3. 

 

The probability is the same on the next roll as it was on the first four rolls for getting a number greater than two, so the first sentence is sort of excess information.
