a smoothie recipe calls for 3 parts bananas, 3 parts strawberries, 2 parts vanilla yogurt, 2 parts milk, and 4 parts ice. How many ounces of strawberries are needed to make 56 ounces of smoothie?

yes Andrew you are correct. My division 56/14 went wrong . It should be 4 not 6.

Small math error at the end there:
 
14a = 56
 
a = 56/14
 
a = 4
 
3a = 12 ounces of strawberries
