Calclulate P(0 females) + P(1 female) + P(2 females) + P(3 females).
For the word ALMOST in your last line, I presume that you meant AT MOST.
Arvin T.
i don't know how to calculate that, sorry!

Well, let me show you how to calculate ((2 females on committee of 5)
# of ways to choose 2 females is 8C2
# ways to choose the rest, 3 males, is 6C3
# ways to choose a committee of 5 w/o restrictions is 14C5
P(2 females) = 8C2•6C3÷14C5.
Pattern the other calculalions in a similar manner.
