Step on e: is denaturation, template DNA denatures at high heat and two strands are separated.
Step two: Primers anneal to single stranded DNA at the right place(1005% complementary pairing) as well as other places.
Step 3: Taq polymerase starts DNA replication/synthesis from annealed primers. Replication is fastest at accurate pairing.
These three steps are repeated for 25-30 cycles or more cycles for genomic DNA, since it is too big and complex.
