Solve the equation 2 log10 x = 1 + log10 ( 4x-15/2 )
the (4x-15/2) is actually ' 4x-15 ' divided by 2

2log10x - log10[(4x-15)/2] = 1
log10(x2) - log10[(4x-15)/2] = 1
log10[x2 ÷ (4x-15)/2] = 1
log10[2x2/(4x-15)] = 1
2x2/(4x-15) = 101
2x2 = 40x - 150
2x2 - 40x + 150 = 0
x2 - 20x + 75 = 0
(x-15)(x-5) = 0
So, x = 5 or 15
