Hi! I'm not sure exactly what the question is but peptides are not carbohydrates.
Peptides make up proteins and are chains of amino acids. Proteins are just large polypeptides. The average protein is made up of 500 amino acids. To make a peptide, amino acids are joined together by a special bond called a peptide bond. This bond links the amino group of one amino acid to the carboxyl group of another.
Carbohydrates on the other hand are molecules consisting of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen in a ratio of 1:2:1. Carbohydrates play a number of roles in the body, but they are our primary source of energy. An example would be the sugar glucose, which has a chemical formula of C6H12O6.
