Since the space in here doesn't really allow for drawings, I can help you in another fashion.
We can start by taking a few points, and use those coordinates to get a look at how our line looks and how the graph should be set up:
y < -6 * 0 + 4
y < 4 (0, 4)
y < -6 * 1 + 4
y < -6 + 4
y < -2 (0, -2)
y < -6 * -1 + 4
y < 6 + 4
y < 10 (-1, 10)
So now we have three points on our line.
When you graph inequalities, there are three things to be aware of:
(1) When you use less than or more than signs without the "or equal to" line underneath, remember to use open circles as you plot the points (as that denotes those coordinates are not actual solutions).
(2) When you use less than or more than signs without the "or equal to" line underneath, remember to use a dash line (as once again, that denotes that points on that line are not actual solutions).
(3) Shade in the proper area of the graph that matches the sign (as that denotes those coordinates are all possible answers). as we have "y is less than" as our inequality, that means we need to shade in everything below the line.
I hope this helps you.
