$27.00+$2.16+$5.40

Convert all percent to decimals 20% --> 0.2 and 8% --> 0.08

First you have to calculate tip:

 

27$ x 0.2 = 5.4$ in tips

 

Now calculate tax

27$ x 0.08 = 2.16

 

Now your bill will be your tax + food + tips = 2.16$ + 27$ + 5.4$ =34.56$
