Two cabinet makers each has 300 small cases to make. One can make 15 cases an hour, while the second can make 13.

The question is: HOW MANY CASES MORE DOES THE 2ND MAKERS HAVE TO FINISH?
would you please show me the complete solution with equation in this word problem. Thanks!

It states above "each has 300 small cases to make"

You are missing information in this question. Eventually both cabinet makers will make all 300 cases. It will just take the slower cabinet maker (13 case/hr) longer.

Just to clarify, the question here is:
After finishing the 300 cases of make 1 (15 cases per hour), how many cases more does maker 2 needs to finish. This ask the remaining case for maker 2 after maker 1 had accomplished the 300 cases
