solve 9x+2=3/4(2x+11)

9x + 2 = 3/4 (2x+11)

 

Multiply both sides by 4:

 

36x + 8 = 3 (2x+11)

 

36x + 8 = 6x + 33

 

Subtract 6x + 8 from both sides:

 

30x = 25

 

Divide both sides by 30:

 

x = 25/30 = (5*5)/(5*6) = 5/6
