we assume student tickets are x, children tickets are y

 

so the adult tickets are x+150

 

x + (x+150) + y =600

2x + y =450

y =450- 2x    we call this is equation 1

 

3x + 7(x+150) + 2y = 3150

10x + 2y =2100

5x + y =1050  we call this is equation 2

 

put equation 1 into equation 2, we will get

5x + 450 - 2x = 1050 

3x = 600 

x= 200

 

so y=450 - 2x = 450 - 2*200 = 50

x+150 =200 +150 = 350

 

the student ticket is 200, adult ticket is 350, children ticket is 50.
