mechanical work done by the two men in lifting the boat 24 times, assuming they applied the same force to the boat during each lift. (Neglect any work they may have done allowing the boat to drop back to the ground)

This problem got a little munged in the posting.  Is this meant to be a continuation of the skier-down-the-slope problem you already posted?  If that is the case, we would need to have a consensus value for the coefficient of friction between the skier's skis and the snow, assuming that friction is what is bringing the skier to rest.  I can look up a standard value, but that would assume a particular kind of material for the skis.  Do you have any information about that (assuming I am even interpreting this question correctly)?
