Looks like this question got one "thumbs down".  I wonder why?

Maybe someone thinks you are asking too easy questions?  

Or that you should put some indication of the question in the question title, like:

"Socialization: what is it? help me, please!"

 

I mention this because that kind of feedback (thumbs up/down, likes on Facebook) are part of:

Socialization: C. The process by which people learn to behave in ways that society finds acceptable.

 

The "acceptable" sounds a little judgemental, here's another wording I found by Googling:

Process by which individuals acquire the knowledge, language, social skills, and value(s) to conform to the norms and roles required for integration into a group or community.

 

So even in online forum, "socialization" takes place ;-)
