Hunar, It is hard to decode your statement of the problem...
Assuming I want to have 4 pieces of wood, each of them 68 cm long,
then I need 4*0.68 = 2.72 m total length.
I could get this from one 3 m length,
which would leave 0.28m or 28 cm left.
