If you're asking whether the statement in your "Question" field is true or false, it is false since "Chief Jay Strongbow" was the "ring name," i.e., the pseudonym adopted for entertainment purposes, of a professional wrestler who wasn't even Native American and apparently never had any involvement in political or social activity to support Native American concerns.
The American Indian Movement also does not seem to have a single person as its "head" and indeed was founded by a group of individuals, some of whom admittedly attained more prominence than the others and came to be viewed as the "leaders" of the movement, but again it would be hard to single out one person as the head of the group.
