I believe this looks like 2 equations: 1) y+5y=5; and 2) 6x-5y=2; and they are intended to parts of a system. First we solve for y: y+5y is simply 6y, therefore 6y=5. Thus y=5/6.
Next substitute 5/6 for y in the other equation: 6x-5(5/6)=2. Thus 6x-25/6=2. Add 25/6 to each side & you have 6x=2+25/6, so 6x=12/6 + 25/6, or 37/6 then divide each side by 6. Therefore x=(37/6)/6. Since division is the inverse of multiplication, we can multiply 37/6 by 1/6, so that the final answer becomes 37/36. I hope I understood your question correctly & I hope that helps!
