A balloon filled with 364 cubic inches of a gas at a pressure of 14 pounds per square inch:

 

     364 = k/14

     364*14 = k

     5096 = k

 

So the full equation is:

 

     V = 5096/P

 

find the new pressure of the car if the volume is decreased to 52 cubic inches:

 

     52 = 5096/P

     P = 5096/52

     P = 98 lbs/in²
