Applied Math: manufacturing costing question to assess COG's ie, Cost of Goods

This is a manufacturing costing question:
I paid $600 for 4.44 liquid lbs of a product. I am using 1 1/2 oz in the bench product . How much is the cost of the bench product: 1 1/2 oz.? Also, the kit product uses 1/4 of the Bench Product. How many oz is used in the kit product & what is the cost of the kit product? What is the cost per oz for all?
This is a one time question. I just need the answer. I don't need to know how its done bcs I probably won't need it again. I just need the answer one time to find the COG's of the product. ei Cost of Goods. Thx Inventing Joy director of Product Development

Thank you so much Robert, I really appreciate how you explained the answer. You are what I call a tidy teacher. You gave me just enough to understand the process without too much info that makes the non math me glaze over. I sort of came up wi a similar answer, but couldn't remember what to divide by what to get the right dollar amount. Also when I did it, even though I was near 8.45 per oz, it didn't look right to me & I didn't know how to check it. It looks like I may have been headed toward the right track but I couldn't have used my figures bcs I was not at all confident that they were right. I would never had COG's correct. Imagine if I was being questioned on "Shark Tank"LOL. No, not with this product. They like consumer products. This is a B to B. But the facts have to be clear & accurate on both. There was a time I knew how to do this but as I get older, It seems I have too much on the hard drive in my head & some of my memory is hazy. My creative ability is up (left side of brain) & right side not so much. There's a research subject for someone. Thanks again & Puppy love from Inventing Joy & Furryfolk
