The Allied Powers were not the same in WWI and WWII.  I'm going to guess that you're asking about WWII.
 
In World War II, the Allied Powers were Great Britain, France, China, the Soviet Union, and the US.  (The US and the Soviet Union joined in 1941.)  They opposed the Axis Powers of Germany, Italy and Japan.

Haley, Paul L. is entirely correct about World War II, but your use of the two-word verb plunges into (though you wrote the latter component as two words) suggests to me that you're really referring to the First World War since this idiom would seem to be a more apt characterization of the causes and beginning of this war than how the Second World War started. That is, World War I was of course triggered by the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, but as a result of all the complex treaties and alliances that most of the nations of Europe had previously created among one another, none had much other choice than to follow the other members of their respective alliances into declarations of war which resulted in the eventual armed hostilities. So in this sense the nations of Europe "plunged" into war, whereas in World War II by contrast the major Allied powers were very reluctant to go to war (largely as a result of the still-fresh memory of the carnage of World War I) but eventually their hand was forced by the military aggression of Nazi Germany in Europe and Imperial Japan in Asia and the Pacific region, including the attack on Pearl Harbor which finally triggered U.S. participation in the wider war.
 
So if your question is in fact about World War I, the major Allied Powers were Great Britain, France and Russia and the alliance included Serbia, Belgium and Italy, joined much later in the war by the United States (i.e., the U.S. had no entangling alliances at the outset of the war that required it to "plunge into" the conflict).
