a) 2 & 3 could be the two blanks, but there are infinitely many possible answers, e.g. 1 & 2 would lead to a single solution
b) 2 & 2 could be the two blanks; the second one should always be two but the first blank can be anything except 4
c) -5, -1 & 4 could be in the three blanks to yield an IDENTITY, which is not a conditional equation & so has infinitely many solutions.
