He's hungry so he goes to the lunch place and gets a burger for $5.25. He pays for it with the money that he has left over from the paying the entrance fee. So out of the $11.05 he spends $5.25 which means that he has $5.80 left.

 

Does he have $10 to spend at the gift shop? No. He only has $5.80.

 

$20.00 - 8.95 - 5.25 = $5.80

 

$5.85 is not >= $10.00 so the answer is no.
