pick values for x and determine the corresponding y values
x=0, y=-1, (0,-1)
x=1, y=0, (1,0)

x=-2, y=-3, (-2,-3)
x=3, y=2, (3,2)
x=-3, y=-4, (-3,-4)
you can pick as many ordered pairs as you like, however, two points determine a line and choose a third point to make sure there are no mistakes
