Sue has $3.50 in dimes and nickels. If she has 14 more dimes as nickels, how many of each coin does she have?

315 = 5n +10d
d= 14+n
5n + 10(14+n) = 315
15n +140 = 350
n = (350-140)/15 = 210/15
n= 70/5 = 14 nickels
d = 28 dimes
10(28) + 5(14)
= 280 +70 =350
