Let's Work Together For Your Success
Hey Jessica --
If it's not too late, here's a little information for you.
Remember that "federal officials" over see the policies and programs for the entire USA.
"local officials" are more concerned about the policies and programs for a specific town, state, or region.
One example: What if a big corporation decided to move to your hometown and build a giant headquarters near a wildlife preserve? Maybe unemployment is so high in your town, it would be worth it for your local officials to ignore the needs of the wildlife and allow the corporation to build. But the federal government feels it is more important to protect the wildlife. Can you see why the priorities of each group would come into conflict???
Let me know if you have more questions.
