Hi Sarah, change the inequality sign to an equal sign and solve for y.

 

x - 4y = -8

 

-4y = -x - 8

 

y = x / 4 + 2

 

However, this will only give you the line, the slope of the line, and the x- and y-intercept points. It will not solve the inequality for you.
