Hi Again Andrea;
-6=y/4+(-3)
I assume you want to isolate y...
Let's add 3 to both sides...
3-6=(y/4)+(-3)+(3)
-3=y/4
Let's multiply both sides by 4...
4(-3)=(y/4)(4)
-12=y
