The slope of a line is m=(y3-y1)/(x2-x1) = (-8-8)/(0-2) = 8
The slope also is m=(y-y1)/(x-x1), which, in Standard Form is mx-y = mx1-y1
Using the slope m=8 and the point (2,8):
8x - y = 8(2) -8
8x - y = 8
