While William's answer is correct, I would like to add one detail.

 

In the future, as you answer questions such as this, you must initially verify that all provided mathematical information is in identical units.  For example, the weight of the brown ball may have been provided in ounces, whereas that of the red ball may have been provided in kilograms.

 

In this case, both are in pounds.  Therefore all that was required was arithmetic.
