Ο Ο Ο Ο Ο      Ο Ο Ο Ο                                 + 9     How many ones do you have?   ________ 

 

 

You are just missing one circle to make 20 circles.  What is one less than 20?________

 

Now just add up straight down.

Nine plus ten equals 19.  The answer is 19.

 

 

This seems too simple.  Can you not add integers?
