Hi Jonyae, lines that are parallel to each other have the same slope. In the line you have, the slope is 5 or correctly written, 5/1, because the slope is the change in rise (the y values) divided by the change in run (the x values.)
An example of a line parallel to y = 5x - 2 would be y = 5x + 6. The difference between the two lines is where they cross the y-axis.
Another example would the line in standard form, 10x - 2y = 8. The slope of the standard form line is: -A / B. In the example, A = 10, B = -2. The slope is -10/-2 or 5.
A third would be a line in the point-slope form, y - y1 = m(x - x1). Use the point (3, 7) and let m = 5. The line in the point-slope form is: y - 7 = 5(x - 3)
All three of these lines have the same slope.
