I love math, and I love to teach it.
Dear Caleb,
Both plants and animals have a plasma membrane, which keeps everything inside from seeping out. Also, usually plants and animals have a nucleus because that is where the DNA is usually found. The endoplasmic reticulum is a transport system within the cytoplasm of the cell.
However, if you see a membrane, and then you see a cell wall, this is indicative that you are observing a plant cell.
Plant cells are usually made of cellulose. This cell wall protects and gives structure to the plant cells http://www.biology4kids.com/files/cell_wall.html
I hope that I have been helpful. If you like my work, please give me a thumbs up.
