how do you solve system of inequalities by graphing?

I want to understand step by step , detail by detail , as to how i solve systems of inequalities by graphing. I honestly don't understand algebra 2 at all. Math has always been a weakness for me.

 But say that :

 

   Y < X+3

    Y > -2 + 3x

 

     First you graph the line Y = X +3  ,  connect   y( 0, 3 )  Y ( -3 , 0) .The intercept points.  

 

     test the origin ( 0 , 0 ) in the inequality. 0< 3, so mark right of the line with dashes as solution

 

     Do the same for Y> -2 + 3x  Draw the line  y = 3X - 2   connecting ( 2/3 , 0) & ( 0, -2)

       ( 0.0)

   0 > -2 , so mark right of the line as solution.

   

          System 's solution will be overlapped region of the dashed area.
